You have a proven, solid reputation for completely managing the office operations of a high-end adventure travel organization.
You’re extremely detail oriented, organized, and great at juggling deadlines, schedules, people & resources. You are tech savvy with the latest software & have experience juggling a variety of SAAS software platforms.
You are a proven manager – a true leader of people & well practiced at delegating, holding people accountable & you can easily juggle the day-to-day logistics of a complex, tech heavy, remote operation. You are a master of putting out fires & keeping the trains running on time.

The Job:
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily office operations of Backcountry Journeys. The Customer Service & Logistics Manager is in charge of managing an overall staff team of approximately 6-10 direct reports currently.
The core function of this position is managing & leading your team as well as ensuring quality. You are directly responsible for the customer service team at Backcountry Journeys.
You will work directly with and report to the Director of Operations (currently the founder of the company).
Having prior experience working for a company running on EOS is HUGE for this role.
A large part of this role is staff leadership, management & accountability as well as internal process creation, daily operations & customer success.

Skills
- 4+ years experience in the outdoor adventure travel industry
- 4+ years in management
- Proven leader
- The ability to run the daily backend operations of a growing adventure travel company
- Insane attention to detail and high standards of organizational quality
- Positive, flexible, solution oriented, and excited to work with a diverse team
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) — you have a knack for offering constructive feedback, effective delegation, and ensuring everyone on your team is on the same page
This is a remote work / home-based position. Please note that all candidates must have the following:
- Reliable Home Office (PC, Printer, Phone etc, etc, etc) with dual monitors
- Reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi connection
