You are committed to excellence and confidentiality. You are experienced, confident and ready to support our Founder. You’re confident in your ability to communicate & stay on top of lots of moving pieces.

Can you manage & write responses to a busy email inbox? Can you ensure the Founder/CEO’s schedule is up-to-date & managed in real-time both professionally & personally? Can you handle a variety of odd jobs on a weekly basis?

The schedule is 6am to 2pm Alaska Time, Monday through Friday. We are flexible with time-off however there will be evening & weekend field-line shifts occasionally & you are always on-call whenever the Founder is traveling. There always will be last minute fires to put out & problems to solve!

But at the end of the day – it’s a super fun & rewarding position & you get to work mostly from home.

Us:
We’re Backcountry Journeys. We’re a group of outdoor photography nerds that love exploration & adventure. You’ll get to work with a fun, hard-working crew of like-minded, outdoor photographers, travel to exciting destinations around the globe & also spend a good deal of time at home doing what you love. We work hard, we play hard!

Our purpose at Backcountry Journeys is connecting passionate people to exceptional experiences through our world-class landscape & wildlife photography tours, workshops & safaris.
