You are well-versed in the outdoor adventure travel industry. You are also a nature photographer & understand the photo travel industry. You are familiar with popular locations for photography across the world, and eager to discover new & unique locations.
You have a proven, solid reputation for working with vendors, managing schedules & negotiating rates.
You’re extremely detail oriented, organized, and great at juggling deadlines, schedules, people & resources. You are tech savvy with the latest software & have experience juggling a variety of SAAS software platforms.

The Job:
This position is responsible for managing the logistics & putting together all of the moving parts for new Backcountry Journeys photography trips. The Trip Development Specialist is in charge of putting the pieces together & fleshing out the details when new trips come out. This includes vendor management, billing, scheduling, coordinating with other departments & supporting our Marketing Director.
The core function of this position is working with new vendors as well as ensuring quality on all of our trips. You are directly responsible for ensuring the details are in-place for all new trip offerings.
You will work directly with and report to the Director of Marketing.

• Positive, flexible, solution oriented, and excited to work with a diverse team
• Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
